Turning 21 was supposed to be the most exciting time of my life. I was graduating college, starting adulthood. I could even get a drink without using my fake ID! While I wanted to be excited about everything 21, I wasn't. Don't get me wrong--I was looking forward to the future, but I had concerns. Was I ready for all of this--leaving the college bubble, working full time, becoming a "real" adult? These mixed emotions occupied my thoughts, and I looked for photographs online that represented my feelings. What I found, however, were perfect photographs, perfectly taken and perfectly edited.
In my photographs, I tried to show what I didn't see online--the combination of perfection and imperfection to exemplify my feelings, and the reality of human life.
